Finding The Perfect Solution
Can you tell us a little about your space and what made you choose FITtoFRAME blinds for your home?
“We chose the FITtoFRAME blinds as they were the perfect solution for our bifold door. We had been on the hunt for something for a long time but nothing was quite right as it was difficult to find something that worked with the style of how the door opened up and also had that seamless design that we were looking for. When we came across the FITtoFRAME blinds we knew immediately they were the perfect solution and exactly what we had been looking for.”
How does the frameless, sleek design complement your interior style?
“The design of the blinds is perfect for this room and the interior style of our home as they really compliment the calm feel of this bright and airy space. They are a modern design but still so elegant and fit perfectly in our more traditional style home. We absolutely love them!”
Do these blinds change the way your rooms feel or function compared to before?
“Yes 100% – It is so great to finally be able to provide some shade on the sunnier days and keep the room that bit cooler as with most new build/A rated homes, they can get quite hot during the sunnier days so a good quality blind really becomes an essential. Yet when the blinds are open they are so discreet and sleek that you would almost not even notice them there. In the evenings we have found that they create such a cosy feel to the room that was really needed and missing before. We have also noticed they help keep heat in the room better too.”

“My favourite aspect I think is how they make the room feel in the evenings especially. It is so much more private and cosy. Keeping the warmth in and adding a lovely feel to the space. The fact that they are also so functional is a big added bonus.”

Are there any styling or installation tips from your experience that you’d share with our readers?
“A tip I would give is to go with a fabric that will stand the test of time style wise. You want these blinds to be in your home for many years to come so something timeless is what we were hoping to achieve with our fabric choice. We went with the Tribeca Blockout blind in the shade Oatmeal and feel this is perfect. Even if we decide to completely change the room up with various paint colours etc. down the line – I still feel this fabric is one that will match almost every paint colour we might choose.”
